Quick Update From Egypt

Well hello once again,

I have not been posting too much about houses over the last few days because I am currently visiting Cairo, Egypt. I have had a few people ask me to share a few pictures, and in the spirit of architecture, culture, and living well where you are I am posting a few quick pictures.

If you have considered coming to Egypt now is actually a fantastic time. There is less tourism (and thus easier access to anything) because of fear, that has proven to be enormously misplaced, and misguided. There are many things in this world to be wary of, and some of them are in Egypt, but the people are wonderful. They generally love Americans. Even if they have problems with our political system in the United States they don’t all hate us… Separating a people from its government is a necessary curtesy that they seem to be very good at, generally speaking of course. I don’t mean to lecture, but I just want to say that people are people everywhere there are people. I find that with a warm smile and a few cheesy jokes you can find yourself doing things that sound impossible if you only live your life on your couch. Make your home a sanctuary, but make the world your playground, I urge you! Until next time.

  1. It was so nice to meet you today at the protest. Good news- I found that young lady who was telling us her story. I spoke to all of the tv crews and introduced her. She will be on fox 25 @ 9 pm tonight and the other stations have follow up interviews set for this week. Thank you for supporting the students!

Good luck to you, your mother and all of your endeavors . I look forward to reading your blog.

    Take Care-
    Stefanie
